A WARM WELCOME
We hope our Website will give you a flavour of some of the exciting things we do here at Whatfield CEVCP School. As you can see from our diary and photo's, pupils enjoy a range of amazing opportunities. If you would like to visit the school, please contact Mrs Bailey, the school secretary, on 01473 823 309 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for a personal tour.
We were thrilled to be awarded an 'Outstanding' grade by SIAMs in October 2016, it confirms all that we feel about the excellent education we offer children at Whatfield CEVCP School.
Performance and Results 2017
As a small school our results are rarely published due to small numbers, but we can say that our pupils make excellent progress from whatever their starting points. This year our pupils were in the top 5% for reading and writing and top 25% for maths in the country. They made at least expected progress in writing. We were very proud of their hard work and attitude to learning. Well done, we have heard good things about you as year 7's in Hadleigh High School!
For our last published results in 2015 I can say that we were top in the Telegraph Performance Tables for Suffolk, and 7th in the Times! These results put us among the top 150 Primary Schools in the country! Pupils at the end of key stage 2 all attained level 5 in their Reading, Gaps and Maths tests which represents extremely good progress from the end of Key Stage 1 for all pupils in that particular year group.
Only part of this website is open to the public, as we hope that our children will log in to the learning platform and discuss their work with friends and teachers. If they need to be reminded of their password it is the same password as for 'Mathletics'
If you would like to come and visit our lovely school, please make an arrangement to do so by phoning or emailing Mrs Claire Buckley. If you would like paper copies of any of our policies, please ask and they can be collected from the office free of charge.
